Cancer comes in many forms. I lost my grandmother to ovarian cancer almost 14 years ago. While I was only 2 at the time, her loss changed our family forever. I have seen my mom experience the pain of going through so many of life’s milestones without her mom – and best friend – by her side. Prior to losing her mom, my mother lost all four grandparents to various types of cancer, and it was in college that she lost her paternal grandfather to leukemia. My campaign will provide support to the critical work of LLS in hopes that one day no one will have to grow up without the ones they love. I know that with your help, I can reach my goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
